A sportive only for lady cyclists

Sunday September 27th is the date for this years end of season Ladies Sportive.

Western Lakes CC are organising a sportive (leisure cycle) for  Ladies exclusively, its one of the few lady only events in the country and it promises to be an enjoyable experience for all participants.

Western Lake's Ladies

Our chosen charity is Rock Rose House, Mayo Cancer Support Services, Castlebar. Our route is a scenic 64km around Lough Mask.

Cyclists will start in Ballinrobe, then pass Partry where they will head for Tourmakeady along the north shore of the lough. They then tackle the short climb of Ma’am Trasna, the top of which boasts stunning views of Lough Na Fooey and of the Partry and Maamturks mountains.  After this, cyclists will have a well earned food stop at Finney(Larches pub) before heading back to Clonbur and then onto the finish in Ballinrobe.
