Mayo cycling League
The 2012 Mayo cycling league kicks off next Friday the 23rd of March with a 5k hill climb up Lally's mountain in Tourmakeady.
The domestic cycling scene in Mayo has blossomed over the past few years with cycling clubs popping up everywhere, and in recessionary times there is no better cost effective and mode of transport than cycling..
From participation comes competition and the Mayo cycling league aims to develop participants by racing over various disciplines like Hill climbing, Time trialing both are against the watch, handicap road races and team time trials there even is a team competition.
The 9 event league is aimed at all abilities who want to race, all that is required is a cycling Ireland competition licence and of course your bike.

- Friday Mar 30th Time Trial 16k Ballinrobe sign on from 5pm @cycling centre
- Wednesday April 4th Road race Westport sign on from 5.30pm at the Leisure park
- Friday April 20th Road Race Castlebar sign on from 6pm at An Sportlann
- Wednesday May 2nd Road Race Swinford sign on from 6pm GAA pitch
- Friday May 25th Road race Cong, sign on Carpark from 7pm
- Wednesday June 6th Time Trial Ballinrobe, sign on Cycling centre 7PM
- Wednesday June 13th Hill climb Tourmakeady, sign on from 7pm
- Friday July 6th Team Time Trial, sign on Partry hall from 7pm
