Stage 2 B podium

Thank you to so many of you for travelling such distances to take part and we hope that the Bogman 2 Day will become an annual event on your racing calendar.

The event could not happen without a huge team of people behind it. Thank you to the commissionaires, Cycling Ireland crew & Seamus Shorthall for making it a fair & safe event. To the motor cyclists, marshals, local Garda, lead cars, Galway County Council, Civil Defence & Nurse Monica Nee for creating such a safe event for the cyclists & public. To Western Lakes for their equipment & support.

Bogman 2 day final stage and overall result

David Nugent Seven Springs along with 6 others escape the clutches of the bunch in the final kilometers to win the stage.

The General Classification pretty much stays the same as the time trial with the Luncan RC controlling matters when it counted.

Thanks to all the competitors who traveled from near and far also to all our sponsors and supporters without we would’ nt have a race.
