Ballinrobe 3 day on May Bank Holiday open for entry
The Ballinrobe 3 day has changed its date it was always held in August as a 2 day event but the club felt that the time was ripe to move the event to May and make it a 3 day event.
The stages are testing but suit the all rounder and with no TT the result may be in doubt till the final stage.
In 2016 we are opening the race to the first 100 riders and they can be off any of the following categories A3,A2,A1,A1+ and Ladies. Entry closes once we reach 100, so sign up NOW.

Over the next 2 weeks we will analysis each stage and highlight the areas where the race may be won and lost.
We have leaders jerseys for A2 and A3 riders, Mountains, Sprints and the coveted yellow jersey for the Winner.
Each stage has a perpetual cup or trophy and we have a generous prize fund.

2 laps of 57k, the opening stage is pretty flat as you will see from the profile above, but the roads are open and if we get the wind blowing hard expect echelons and broken pelotons, we have 2 KOH sprints one at 44k and the other at 100k its only short and will establish who is interested in the KOH competition.
More to follow on stage 2 next week
