UCD back to defend Ballinrobe 2 day

With only a week to go to The Marrey bikes Ballinrobe 2 day 2012, this year's promtion promises to be a cracker with teams coming from all 4 corners of the country.

Last year's winner Colm Cassidy of UCD is back with a strong squad to defend the title he worked hard for last year, but with strong teams from Kilcullen, Mullingar, Errigal, West Clare, Shannonside, Castlebar, Galway and Seven Springs entered, plus aload of indivduals UCD may have a fight on their hands

One of the big attaraction of this years race is the large nunber of ladies entered, this event is part of the Ladies Classic league and they are all down with a fighting chance of taking some ranking points as well as overall honors.

Western Lakes Team will also be fielding a strong squad with this been a local event held on familiar roads the pressure is on the home team to get a result.

Race for A4 riders

On Sunday August 12th there will be a seperate A4 race, racing 3 laps of 20k for a total distance of 60k. Club racers can take out a one day licence to race.
Sign on at the Cycling centre from 11.30am, racing starts at 1.15pm
